THE 8 LIES OF A MOTHER(TOUCHING STORY)

THE 8 LIES OF A GREAT MOTHER(TOUCHING STORY)

The story begins when the person who shared this was a child.Born into a very poor family, often there was not much to eat in the house. Whenever there was some food, the Mother would give her portion of rice to the child and say ‘eat this rice son, I’m not hungry.’As the child grew, the mother started using up all her spare time to go fishing in a river near the house, hoping that from the fish she would catch, she could provide a little nutrition to her child. Every time she caught two fish, she would make a fish soup and give it to her child. As the child drank the soup and ate the fish, the mother would sit beside and eat the bone from what was left. The child felt really sad seeing its mother eating just the left over bones, so one day it gave a piece of fish to the mother, but the mother said ‘eat this fish son, I don’t like fish.’As the son was growing up, the mother began working harder to fund his education. She went to a Match factory to bring home used matchboxes which she would fill with fresh matchsticks. This helped her get some money that she could use towards her son’s education. One late winter night the son woke up and saw his mother was still filling the matchboxes by candlelight. He asked her to go to sleep. ‘Go to sleep son, I’m not tired,’ she smiled. When it was time for the son’s final exam, the mother accompanied him and after dawn, she waited for long hours in the sun for her son to finish the exam. When he came out and ran to his mother, she gave him a cup of tea she had brought for him. He could see his mother was covered in sweat, so he gave her the glass and asked her to drink.'But she said  drink son, I am not thirsty.’After the death of his father, his mother had to take on the role of a single parent, working, trying to meet the expenses, battling starvation. The neighbours, who saw that the family was stuck in poverty, often advised the mother to marry again, but she refused, saying ‘I don’t need love.’After he finished his studies, he got a job and asked his mother to stop working. But she continued going to the market each morning just to sell a few vegetables. She kept sending back the money that her son sent her, saying ‘I have enough money.’The son got a big jump in salary and decided to bring his mother with him to America, where he was now living. But his mother didn’t want to bother the son and said ‘I’m not used to high living.’In her old age, the mother got ill with cancer and had to be hospitalised. The son, who lived oceans away from her, rushed to her, who was bedridden after an operation. She tried to smile, but the son was heartbroken because she was so thin and feeble, but mother said, ‘Don’t cry son, I’m not in pain.’ And saying this, her eighth lie to her son, she died.
Our mothers are treasures we should treat them always with respect.I  stand tall to say my mother is the best mother in the world.

MYSTERIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!ZOO KEEPER KILLED BY TIGER(PICS)

             MYSTERIOUS!!!!!!!ZOO KEEPER KILLED BY TIGER(PICS)
Police investigating the death of a young female zoo keeper who was fatally mauled by a tiger have not ruled out suicide.Sarah McClay, 24 , was attacked bya Sumatran tiger at the park in Dalton-in-Furness, Cumbria, on Friday afternoon after she went into its enclosure.Bosses at the park say she had no reason to be in the area.Police say the enclosure had several compartments which were connected by lockable doors. Keepers are routinely required to enter various parts of the enclosure but systems are in place to ensure that they and the animals remain apart at all times.Scroll down for her pictures

Party fun: Zookeeper Sarah McClay dressed up as a cat on a night out.At some stage this failed, and officers are trying to establish whether this was a result of human or technical factors.Officers today said they had not ruled out suicide.David Gill, director of the animal park, said there was no obvious reason for Ms McClay  to enter the enclosure and said that she had died from her 'own tragic mistake'.He said she opened one padlock and two slide bolts to get inside without ensuring the Sumatran tigers, Pandang and Alisha, were locked away.Writing on the park's Facebook page, Mr Gill said: 'We have made a statement that from the investigations that have taken place it is clear that this tragedy was caused by a sad error of judgment and breach of protocols, in essence, keeper error.'This is not blame, it is not anything but defining the facts as they appear.'This does not mean Sarah killed herself on purpose it means simply she died from her own tragic mistake.

Killed: Keeper Sarah McClay died after being mauled by a tiger at the zoo where she worked.

Zoo keeper: Miss McClay was described as a happy, bubbly woman who loved her job at the animal park'Not the park's fault': Owner David Gill said neither the zoo or the tiger was to blame for the death of keeper Sarah McClay Mauled: Sarah McClay died after being attacked by a tiger at South Lakes Wild Animal Park.

One of the park's tigers is pictured .The tigers will not be put down, but were hidden from view at the park, which remained open at the decision of staff.Ambulance crews said Miss McClayhad suffered ‘very traumatic injuries’ to her head and neck and went into cardiac arrest. She was resuscitated by paramedics and airlifted to Royal Preston Hospital following the attack at around 4pm yesterday, but she later died.

Mr Gill told Sky News that zoo staff had heard a scream over the radio and ran to the scene.'Within two minutes we had firearms on scene but sadly we just could not get a clean shot to do anything about it because of exactly where the animal was, so we did our best, we moved around to find a shot,' he said.'Very, very quickly I let off two shots to frighten the animals and it did what it needed to do which was to lift them off and they ran back into the house and other keepers locked them up.'Once we knew we were secure and safe we went into the enclosure to retrieve Sarah.'Visitors were asked to leave the wildlife park yesterday before it closed early. It has reopened today.

THE LADY THAT TURNED TRAGEDY INTO AN OPPORTUNITY TO SPREAD HAPPINESS

THE LADY THAT TURNED TRAGEDY INTO AN OPPORTUNITY TO SPREAD
                                                      HAPPINESS

She turned tragedy into an opportunity to spread happiness. When 18 year old Samantha Mann lost her beloved great-grandmother to a heart-attack, she thought she would never recover from the loss. Depressed, she started looking for ways to overcome her grief and also honor great-grandmother Virginia 'Jinjey' Booth's memory. Suddenly she hit upon an idea. "She lived to be 89 years old. Some of her last words before she died were, "I don't want anyone to be upset.'I thought to myself, "Ok, well I am going to be upset, but I've heard that if you do nice things for others, you can in turn make yourself happy." So that's just what I did! I decided to do 89 random acts of kindness to honor each one of the years she spent with us,' recalls a much happier Samantha.Today '89 acts of kindness' has allowed Samantha to honor Grandmother Booth in a way that has not only helped her get over her own personal loss but has helped her touch other lives through these positive acts. As Samantha puts it, "it is simply about spreading a smile in her grandma's memory."Her modus operandi is simple; they are not fund raisers or schools and shelters; it is about incorporating simple acts of kindness in her everyday life."Some of the activities I've carried out include paying for the people behind me at a drive through, going to an arcade and giving all of my tickets to a little kid, filling up a gas tank for someone else, driving a sick friend to the emergency room, playing with the animals at shelters, and making donations to those shelters" says Samantha with a childlike smile. She has also been very careful about not patronizing anyone when performing her good deed. 'My favorite act to date has to be one at a gas station. I went inside just to get some water, and noticed a very petite woman was walking in behind me carrying her son, who looked to be maybe three years old or so. They went to the refrigerator section and got some milk. The boy timidly asked for a pack of M&M's by then, they got out of line in front of me and went to get the candy. By the time the woman got back in line behind me, I was already up at the counter. I turned to her and said, "You can put your milk up on the counter if you want." She thanked me and I continued, "And your M&M's. I'm going to pay for it." She almost started crying! She was so thankful, and so happy. She told me, "This is probably the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me." It made me feel so good, to brighten up her day like that!' recalls Samantha.Samantha has also cleverly leveraged social media platforms to popularize her concept of spreading joy through random acts of kindness. Hoping to infect others with her enthusiasm for giving, she plans to live stream one of her acts on Facebook. "This Saturday I will be going to a local shopping center and giving out 89 red roses to people who look like they need a smile. I was inspired for that by a picture that I saw circulating around the internet. During this time, I will be live-streaming the video footage of giving the roses away to the Facebook page, and also accepting donations for my friend's mom, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer" adds Samantha. One of her posts on facebook reads, 'When I was a child and would see scary things in the news, my mother would say 'look for people who are helping'. To this day, especially is trying times, I remember my mother's words and am comforted with the fact that there are still so many helpers, that there's still so much hope.' Through '89 random acts of kindness' Samantha hopes to create more helpers. Here is a great example. Learn from it.

17 YEAR OLD GIRL RAPED TWICE WHEN SHE WENT TO A NIGHT CLUB(PICS)

17 YEAR OLD GIRL RAPED TWICE WHEN SHE WENT TO A NIGHT CLUB(PICS)

Arshad Arif, 28, of Slough, Berkshire, allegedly approached the 17-year-old when she was standing cold and wet outside a nightclub in Watford, Hertfordshire, with no money, mobile phone or coat. Two hours later she banged on a couple's door in Slough, with her tights hanging off and underwear missing - after being attacked twice by Arif, who had forced her to perform acts, the court was told.Abigail Husbands, prosecuting, toldReading Crown Court in Berkshire: 'Her father received a terrible phone call from his daughter - the sort every parent dreads. She had been attacked.'After meeting friends at one of their parents' houses, the group had gone a bar in Watford, before ending up at the nightclub Oceana where they drank more wine and shots of spirits. But she became separated from her friends, who last saw the girl at 1.50am and could not find her.'She had no coat, no bag, no money and no phone,' Ms Husbands added. 'It was raining. Itwas late November. She must have been feeling pretty desperate.'After being outside on her own forabout an hour, during which she tried in vain to contact people by borrowing other people's phones, the girl - who was then 17 - was allegedly approached by Arif. The jury watched footage showingthem speaking briefly before he led her away. They walked away from a taxi rank outside the club and she then used Arif's phone to make a call, the court was told. The prosecutor said: 'Her parents were woken up by a call to their landline. She said: "Mum, it's me. I don't feel very well. I can't find the others. I want to come home. Can you come and get me?"Her mother got out of bed and set off to collect her last November from Watford, but arrived too late.As the mother set off, her daughterwas getting into the taxi with the man she had only just met. He spoke to the driver in a language she did not understand, the court was told.'When they got to a drop-off point that was in Slough - where the man wanted to go - the female said she didn't want to get out butthe male took her with him,' Ms Husbands said. The girl told police that once out ofthe taxi the man took her into a park and after walking for several minutes they stopped at a muddy area, before he exposed himself and raped her.The victim said that during the alleged attack she feared she was going to die. In a police interview played to jurors she said how Arif threatened her and forced her to perform acts.Following the attack, she managed to reach a house, where she roused the elderly couple who lived there, the court heard. They comforted her and let her use theirphone to call her father.Arif was allegedly identified after it emerged he had earlier allowed the schoolgirl to use his phone - with her father noting down the number - and a swab taken from the girl allegedly had his semen. The girl's memory failed her from between 12.30am and 3am - from shortly after drinks were bought for the friends by an Asian man in Oceana and around the time she got the taxi, the court heard.Arif denies two counts of rape. Thetrial, before Judge Zoe Smith, continues.

18FT PYTHON KILLED IN FLORIDA(PICTURES)

                            18FEET PYTHON KILLED IN FLORIDA(PICS)

A Miami man briefly wrestled with and ultimately used a knife to kill a Burmese python measuring 18 feet, 8 inches. That sets a state record for pythons captured or killed in the wild. The previous record measured 17 feet, 7 inches.Jason Leon was not hunting pythons but, while driving lateat night recently in southeast Miami-Dade County, he and a friend spotted about 3 feet of snake protruding from the brush.Leon applied the brakes, climbed out of the car, grabbed the visible portion ofthe snake, and began hauling it onto the road. The giant constrictor responded by trying to wrap its body around one of Leon’slegs, but he was able to dispatch the reptile with a knife.Burmese pythons are native to grassy marshes of Southeast Asia and can grow to about 23 feet and weigh up to about 200 pounds. In Florida, where they’ve beenreleased as pets and escaped from wildlife facilities, there are thousands of them, mostlywithin the Everglades ecosystem. As such a large and voracious invasive species, they’re a threat to native wildlife. The state would like to eradicate them, if that were possible.Leon, meanwhile, is being praised. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission issued a news release, in which exotic species specialist Kristen Sommers stated:“The FWC is grateful to him for both safety removing sucha large Burmese python and for reporting its capture…With the help of people like Mr. Leon and our ongoing partnerships with other agencies, the FWC is advancing what we know about Burmese pythons in Florida.”Leon, who said he once owned Burmese pythons and has experience handling the nonpoisonous snakes, reported the capture via a hotline used for reporting exotic species. The python was delivered to the University of Florida’s Fort Lauderdale Research and Education Center where it was measured and a necropsy was performed.

THE GREATEST MISTAKE

                                             THE GREATEST MISTAKE

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer-contractor of his plans to leave the house-building business to live a more leisurely life with his wife and enjoy his extended family. He would miss the paycheck each week, but he wanted to retire. They could get by.The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go & asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but over time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career. When the carpenter finished his work, his employer came to inspect the house. Then he handed the front-door key to the carpenter and said, “This is your house… my gift to you.”The carpenter was shocked! What a shame! If he had only known he was building his own house, he would have done it all so differently. So it is with us. We build our lives, a day at a time, often putting less than our best into the building. Then, with a shock, we realize we have to live in the house we have built. If we could do it over, we would do it much differently. But, you cannot go back. You are the carpenter, and every day you hammer a nail, place a board, or erect a wall. Someone once said, “Life is a do-it-yourself project.” Your attitude, and the choices you make today, help build the “house” you will live in tomorrow. Therefore, Build wisely!

I want us to learn something from this story and that is that, there are some mistakes  that would never be correctable.Live your life loving both your friends and your enemies. The more love you show, the more God would bless you.Avoid at every point of your life not to pay evil with evil because it may just boomerang and hurt you or someone close to you.
We should daily live our lives with hope believing that someday, one day, everything would be alright.Never at any point of your live be sad because the more you get sad,the more the unbelieving spirit takes over killing the believing spirit in you which would in turn make you give up too easily.Things may not be the way you want now but just believe that you would overcome and stand someday with the help of GOD.
Live your life daily with smiles with no intention of hurting anyone in life so you would not be living with regrets and making the greatest mistake that would  not be correctable.

THE POWER OF DETERMINATION

                                  THE POWER OF DETERMINATION

The strongest weapon to fight the challenges that life presents to you is,the power of determination.I woke up sometimes back with a determined spirit and said to myself,"I would never be broke".I can boldly tell you that i can never be out of cash no matter the circumstances.Life's challenges would never cease to come but the the more they come, the stronger you should become.A determined person would go the extra miles in ensuring he or she gets it no matter the challenges that may tend to surface.I am challenging today to say to yourself,I would achieve it no matter the price i would pay.The story below would shed more light on the reason why you should never let go even when the tunnel is filled with darkness.
Glenn Cunningham who was horribly burned in a schoolhouse fire at the age of 8. Doctors predicted he  would never walk again. Determined to walk, Glenn would throw himself off his wheelchair and pull his body across the yard and along a fence. Twenty-two months later, he took his first steps and through sheer determination, learned to run despite the pain…The little country schoolhouse was heated by an old-fashioned, pot-bellied coal stove. A little boy who had the job of coming to school early each day to start the fire and warm the room before his teacher and his classmates arrived. One morning they arrived to find the schoolhouse engulfed in flames. They dragged the unconscious little boy out of the flaming building more dead than alive. He had major burns over the lower half of his body and was taken to a nearby county hospital. From his bed the dreadfully burned, semi-conscious little boy faintly heard the doctor talking to his mother. The doctor told his mother that her son would surely die – which was for the best, really – for the terrible fire had devastated the lower half of his body. But the brave boy didn’t want to die. He made up his mind that he would survive. Somehow, to the amazement of the physician, he did survive. When the mortal danger was past, he again heard the doctor and his mother speaking quietly. The mother was told that since the fire had destroyed so much flesh in the lower part of his body, it would almost be better if he had died, since he was doomed to be a lifetime cripple with no use at all of his lower limbs.Once more the brave boy made up his mind. He would not be a cripple. He would walk. But unfortunately from the waist down, he had no motor ability. His thin legs just dangled there, all but lifeless.Ultimately he was released from the hospital. Every day his mother would massage his little legs, but there was no feeling, no control, nothing. Yet his determination that he would walk was as strong as ever. When he wasn’t in bed, he was confined to a wheelchair. One sunny day his mother wheeled him out into the yard to get some fresh air. This day, instead of sitting there, he threw himself from the chair. He pulled himself across the grass, dragging his legs behind him.He worked his way to the white picket fence bordering their lot. With great effort, he raised himself up on the fence. Then, stake by stake, he began dragging himself along the fence, resolved that he would walk.
He started to do this every day until he wore a smooth path all around the yard beside the fence. There was nothing he wanted more than to develop life in those legs.Ultimately through his daily massages, his iron persistence and his resolute determination, he did develop the ability to stand up,then to walk haltingly, then to walk by himself – and then – to run.He began to walk to school, then to run to school, to run for the sheer joy of running. Later in college he made the track team.Still later in Madison Square Garden this young man who was not expected to survive, who would surely never walk, who could never hope to run – this determined young man, Dr. Glenn Cunningham, ran the world’s fastest mile.
*On June 16, 1934, Glenn Cunningham ran the mile in 4:06.8 minutes, breaking the world’s record. His effort portrays that whatever you want to create in your life is yours for the making. As long as you desire it enough and allow your will to guide you, you can have and be whatever your heart desires. The only one that can put limits on our personal will is ourselves. Develop and encourage your will to create and all the forces of nature within and without will help you bring your desire to pass.
*. 8 years old, was horribly burned in a schoolhouse fire. Doctors predicted he would never walk again.22 months later, took his first steps and through sheer determination, learned to run despite the pain.
Stand up today and aim for the best.At regular intervals say to yourself," i have much more in me than what people tend to see".
The power of determination, would help us achieve anything in life if we believe we can.

I HATE MY MOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                                    I HATE MY MOTHER

I kind of wonder why some people boldly come out to say sometimes,"I hate my mother!!!!".I can boldly say at anytime, that my mother is the greatest mother in the world. Even If i don't love my mother for anything,i can boldly say that i love her for the fact that even when she does not believe in herself, she believes in me.She would always say,"my son,you would be great someday".Sincerely our mothers should be treasures to us every day of our lives because, there are so many people in the world that want to have a motherly love even if it just for a minute. There is  a story below that would prove to you that our mothers would sacrifice anything for us to be happy..............
My mom only had one eye. I hated her… She was such an embarrassment. She cooked for students and teachers to support the family. There was this one day during elementary school where my mom came to say hello to me. I was so embarrassed. How could she do this to me? I ignored her, threw her a hateful look and ran out. The next day at school one of my classmates said, “EEEE, your mom only has one eye!”I wanted to bury myself. I also wanted my mom to just disappear. I confronted her that day and said, “If you’re only gonna make me a laughing stock, why don’t you just die?”My mom did not respond… I didn’teven stop to think for a second about what I had said, because I was full of anger. I was oblivious to her feelings.I wanted her out of that house, and have nothing to do with her. So I studied real hard, got a chance to go abroad to study. Then, I got married. I bought a house of my own. I had kids of my own. I was happy with my life,my kids and the comforts. Then one day, my Mother came to visit me. She hadn’t seen me in years and she didn’t even meet her grandchildren. When she stood by the door, my children laughed at her, and I yelled at her for coming over uninvited. I screamed at her, “How dare you come to my house and scare my children! GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!!!”And to this, my mother quietly answered, “Oh, I’m so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address.” – and she disappeared out of sight. One day, a letter regarding a school reunion came to my house. So I lied to my wife that I was going on a business trip. After thereunion, I went to the old shack just out of curiosity. My neighbors said that she died. I did not shed a single tear. They handed me a letter that she had wanted me to have.“My dearest son,I think of you all the time. I’m sorry that I came to your house and scared your children.I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion. But I may not be able to even get out of bed to see you. I’m sorry that I was a constant embarrassment toyou when you were growing up.You see……..when you were very little, you got into an accident, and lost your eye. As a mother, I couldn’t stand watching you having to grow up with one eye. So I gave you mine.I was so proud of my son who was seeing a whole new world for me, in my place, with that eye. With all my love to you,Your mother.”
What a saddening story. He never got the chance to correct his wrongs. Is your mother a treasure to you???Learn to respect your mother at every point of time because she is costlier than the costliest diamond.I hate my mother would not be a word i will ever alter at any point of time because she is a treasure i would never get when i lose it.Love you mother with my whole heart!!!!!!!!!!!

REAL WINNERS NEVER TEND TO QUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

REAL WINNERS NEVER TEND TO QUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

What hardship of life are you going through that you want to quit????Is giving up the best option you got???Life's hard knocks are just for a while,They never tend to last.Though times are not for ordinary people,They are for though guys that are ready to go the extra miles to make it,guys ready to see the light at the end of the tunnel and guys ready to go through the pains of life to achieve success in life. This is a true story of a lady that went through a lot and at the end i can stand to call her a true hero.I just hope you guys would learn from her story and say to yourself,"  i would never quit".
This is a true story of a young woman who went through the most gruesome fire. When you read her story, you’ll realize that your trials are absolutely nothing compared to what this young girl went through. It was September 25, 2000. Maricel Apatan was an 11-year old girl in Zamboanga. On that day, this little girl went with her uncle to draw water.Along the way, four men met them. They were carrying long knives. They told her uncle to face down on the ground, and they hacked him on the neck and killed him.Maricel was in total shock, especially that the men were their neighbors. She tried to escape, but the men ran after her.She cried, “Kuya, ‘wag po, ‘wag n’yo akong tagain! Maawa po kayo sa akin!” (“Don’t kill me! Have mercy on me!”)But they weren’t listening. With a long knife, a man slashed her on the neck too.Maricel fell to the ground and lost consciousness. When she woke up, she saw a lot of blood. She also saw the feet of the men around her, but she pretended to be dead. When they walked away, Maricel ran back home. But along the way, she saw that both her hands were falling off. Because the men hacked them too. She cried but she kept running.Sometimes, she would faint and fall to the ground. But she’d regain consciousness and run again. When she was near her home, Maricel called her mother.Upon seeing her daughter, her mother screamed in terror. She wrapped her bloodied child in a blanket and carried her to the hospital. Here was the problem: From her house to the highway, it was a 12-kilometer walk. It took them 4 hours just to reach the highway. When they arrived in the hospital, the doctors thought Maricel was going to die. But for 5 hours, they operated on her. It took 25 stitches to stitch together the longknife wound in her neck and back.Maricel barely survived. And she lost both of her hands.Ironically, the next day was Maricel’s birthday. She was 12 years old.But tragedy didn’t end there. When they went home, they saw their home was gone. It was ransacked and burned down by the goons.Being very poor, Maricel’s family also didn’t have P50,000 for their hospital bills. But God sent many angels along the way to help them.Archbishop Antonio Ledesma , a distant relative, paid for hospital bills and helped them bring the criminals to court. They were sentenced to prison.Today, she’s staying with the nunsat Regina Rosarii with Sr. Eppie Brasil, O.P.But this is the incredible miracle. Instead of staying down, Maricel kept running.Instead of cursing God why she had no hands, she now uses her wrists in incredible ways that will boggle your mind.Maricel ApatanMaricel was cited as the most industrious, best in computer, and most courteous in the School for Crippled Children. In 2008, she graduated from a course in Hotel and Restaurant Management. She even received a Gold medal for Arts and Crafts. In 2011, she finished her education to be a chef. Yes, a Chef without hands.Nothing can stop this young lady from reaching her dreams.Real Winners Don’t Give Up!!!!!!!!
You got what it takes to make it.Just believe in yourself and never at any point, think of quitting and am sure with time you would smile.Remember, real winners never tend to quit!!!!!!!!

BE A POSITIVE THINKER!!!!

                                                         BE A POSITIVE THINKER!!!!

Jerry was the kind of guy you love to hate. He was always in a good mood and always had something
positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would reply, “If I were any better, I would be twins!”He was a unique manager because he had several waiters who had followed him around from restaurant to restaurant. The reason the waiters followed Jerry was because of his attitude. He was a natural motivator. If an employee was having a bad day, Jerry was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation.Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day I went up to Jerry and asked him, “I don’t get it! You can’t be a positive person all of the time. How do you do it?” Jerry replied, “Each morning I wake up and say to myself, Jerry, you have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or you can choose to be in a bad mood.’ I choose to be in a good mood. Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or I can choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it. Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their complaining or I can point out the positive side of life. I choose the positive side of life.”“Yeah, right, it’s not that easy,” I protested.“Yes it is,” Jerry said. “Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people will affect your mood. You choose to be in a good mood  or bad mood. The bottom line: It's your choice how you live life.”I reflected on what Jerry said. Soon thereafter, I left the restaurant industry to start my own business. We lost touch, but often thought about him when I made a choice about life instead of reacting to it. Several years later, I heard that Jerry did something you are never supposed to do in a restaurant business: he left the back door open one morning and was held up at gunpoint by three armed robbers. While trying to open the safe, his hand, shaking from nervousness, slipped off the combination. The robbers panicked and shot him. Luckily, Jerry was found relatively quickly and rushed to the local trauma center. After 18 hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care, Jerry was released from the hospital with fragments of the bullets still in his body. I saw Jerry about six months after the accident. When I asked him how he was, he replied, “If I were any better, I’d be twins. Wanna see my scars?”I declined to see his wounds, but did ask him what had gone through his mind as the robbery took place. “The first thing that went through my mind was that I should have locked the back door,” Jerry replied. “Then, as I lay on the floor, I remembered that I had two choices: I could choose to live, or I could choose to die. I chose to live.”“Weren’t you scared? Did you lose consciousness?” I asked. Jerry continued, “The paramedics were great. They kept telling me I was going to be fine. But when they wheeled me into the emergency room and I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors and nurses, I got really scared. In their eyes, I read, ‘He’s a dead man.’ I knew I needed to take action.”“What did you do?” I asked.“Well, there was a big, burly nurse shouting questions at me,” said Jerry. “She asked if I was allergic to anything. ‘Yes,’ I replied. The doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply… I took a deep breath and yelled, ‘Bullets!’ Over their laughter, I told them, ‘I am choosing to live. Operate on me as if I am alive, not dead.”Jerry lived thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of his amazing attitude. I learned from him that every day we have the choice to live fully. Attitude, after all, is everything.
In life, you get what you choose to get.Stay positive and with time you would get what you want from life.As you go out today,BE POSITIVE!!!

21 THINGS THAT WOULD KILL YOUR MOTIVATION

21 THINGS THAT WOULD KILL YOUR MOTIVATION

Getting what you want in life comes down to getting yourself to do what needs to be done when it needs to be done. The problem many of us run into is losing our motivation to do what we have to do.
Coming up with a bunch of ways to motivate yourself is great but I think it’s also useful to identify some of the things that destroys your motivation in the first place. That way, you can figure out what usually causes you to lose your motivation and do something to prevent it.
If taking action is the key to success, then figuring out what stops you from taking action is equally important. The following is a list of 21 common things that can kill your motivation.
1. No Goals
If you don’t have any goals, you can easily find yourself not wanting to do very much. Without a clear direction or purpose, life can seem pretty uninspiring. Take some time to figure out what you want in life. What kind of experiences do you want to have? What sort of impact do you want to make? How do you want to be remembered?
“What would you do if you knew you could not fail?” – Robert H. Schuller
2. Weak Desire
Having a strong “why” is vitally important when it comes to motivation. You can have goals but if your desire to achieve them is weak, any number of things can discourage you and kill your motivation. If your desire is weak, either come up with stronger reasons for achieving the goal or choose another goal, something that actually excites you.
3. Lack of Instant Results
This one is the biggest reason why so many people start a workout or diet program and end up quitting 2 months later. This is usually a result of expecting too much too soon. Give yourself a reasonable time frame. Any goal is achievable if you have enough time, assuming that you’re doing the right things.
4. Lack of Support
When you feel like no one believes in you or supports you or cares about whether or not you accomplish your goals, finding the motivation to keep pressing on can be difficult. Look for people who will support and encourage you. Also, support the dreams of those around you. You just never know how much of a positive impact your support can have on someone.
5. Lack of Belief in Yourself
You can have the motivation to start taking a lot of action but if you don’t truly believe you can accomplish your goals, you’ll eventually stop and end up saying, “I knew I couldn’t do it.” When you let negative thoughts control you, you’ll start to doubt yourself and your motivation will plummet. Try reading positive material and filling your mind with confident thoughts. If possible, hire a coach or find someone who has achieved the results you want to help you out.
“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right.” – Henry Ford
6. Low Energy
It doesn’t matter how motivated your mind is, if your body is lacking in energy, you won’t be able to do much. Take care of your body. Eat right and get some exercise. You can get a lot more done when you have the energy to bounce out of bed in the morning compared to having to muster up every ounce of energy you have just to drag yourself out of bed.
7. Distractions
Distractions will constantly show up from every direction. Give into them and your focus will be thrown off course and when you stay off course for too long, your motivation will eventually deteriorate. One way to deal with this is to constantly ask yourself whether or not what you’re doing at the moment is taking you closer to or away from your goal.
8. Boredom
Often times, the big picture is more exciting than the details but in order to get from where you are to where you want to be, you need to work on the details. If your goal is to lose weight and you find running to be extremely boring, that could kill your motivation. In this case, finding another calorie burning activity is important. If you run a business that requires you to do a lot of boring tasks and it’s killing your drive, hire someone else to do those things.
9. Negative People
Negative people can suck the motivation right out of you. Their negative attitude and discouraging remarks can be a huge energy suck. You should do what you can to avoid these types of people as much as possible.
“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.” – Mark Twain
10. Negative News
The world seems to have an endless supply of bad things happening, at least according to the media. If you spend too much time focusing on all of the bad things that are going on in this world, it can deplete your motivation quite quickly. Since the media focuses mainly on the bad, because it sells, try balancing that out by focusing on the good.
“The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.” – Marcus Aurelius
11. Lack of Action
There are many people who will set a goal, create a plan, and then wait for the perfect time to start. This could be the start of a new year, the beginning of next month, after the summer ends, etc. The best time to take action is when you first set the goal. The reason is because by taking action right away, you’ll create momentum. This momentum can help to increase your motivation. If you wait too long, that excitement will decrease and so will your motivation.
12. Not Having a Clear Plan
Without a clear plan, you’re bound to waste a lot of energy and time. Trying to get from point A to point B without a map to point B can frustrate you and kill your motivation as you realize how much energy and time you’ve wasted and how you’re not that much closer to your achieving your goals. Figure out what you need to do and schedule it into your daily activities.
“He who fails to plan is planning to fail.” – Winston Churchill
13. Having Too Many Goals
Achieving a major goal can be hard enough on its own and when you have too many goals, your focus is scattered. Often times, you end up not achieving any of them. Of course when this happens, the disappointing results can zap your motivation. It’s often better to just choose one goal so you can put all of your focus on it and achieve it than to spread yourself too thin and end up not achieving anything.
14. Fear of Failure
This is major motivation killer. For many, just the thought of failing can be enough to obliterate any motivation they may have. This is a tough one to overcome but just keep in mind that a lot of the biggest accomplishments were a result of the many failures that preceded them.
“I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” – Michael Jordan
15. Feeling Overwhelmed
Remember back in college when you had a project to do or a paper to write and just the thought of how much work and time it’s going to take was enough to make you nauseous? Looking at everything you have to get done all at once can often be too much to handle and break your motivation. The key is to break it all down into small, manageable steps.
16. Doing Something You Hate
If you hate what you do, it’s tough to find the motivation to give it your all. If you need motivation just to get up in the morning and drag yourself to work, it may be a good idea to create a plan to get yourself into a line of work that you actually enjoy.
17. Comparing Yourself to Others
For some, comparing themselves to others can help motivate them to push hard for their goals but for others, it can crush their motivation. Realize that we’re all different and if comparing yourself to other people is causing you to slow down or retreat from your goals, think how much further you’ll be behind 10 years from now. Don’t let the current success of others hinder your progress.
18. Having Too Much Time
When we have too much time to do something, some of us tend to procrastinate. People tend to be super motivated to get things done when the deadline is right around the corner. April 15th ring a bell for anyone? As the saying goes, “If you want to get something done, give it to a busy person.”
19. Lack of Information
For many people, not having enough information, in terms of what to do, can wreck their motivation by prohibiting them from taking action. Even if they find out what to do, some people get too bogged down in figuring out every last detail. Although being prepared is important, sometimes, it’s better to just fire first and aim later.
20. Setbacks
Setbacks can be devastating to one’s motivation. Making progress or even achieving a goal only to have it be taken away from you can make life seem pretty unfair. Realize, however, that setbacks are a part of life. We all go through them. Setbacks are part of what gives life its juice. Our proudest accomplishments are usually the ones where we had to dig deep in order to find out what we’re really made of and were forced to grow in order to overcome the difficult challenges standing in the way of our goals.
“Life’s challenges are not supposed to paralyze you, they’re supposed to help you discover who you are.” – Bernice Johnson Reagon
21. Fear of Criticism
Most of us mere mortals have a fear of being criticized at some level. This fear can wipe out our motivation and even cause some people to quit on their goal altogether. Just keep in mind that there isn’t a single person on this planet who has achieved any great level of success who doesn’t have someone hating on them. Don’t let the opinions of others force you to abandon the things that are most important to you.
“To avoid criticism, say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.” – Elbert Hubbard
Conclusion
By figuring out what commonly kills your motivation, you can plan ahead and come up with ways to prevent it from happening and increase your chances of achieving your goals in the process.

KEEP YOUR DREAM!!!!!!!

                                                KEEP YOUR DREAM

This is a story of a man who says,he would follow his dreams no matter what. This story was told by a friend of his and i just hope it encourages someone today..........Mr Joseph writes:
I have a friend named Monty Roberts who owns a horse ranch in San Ysidro. He has let me use his house to put on fund-raising events to raise money for youth at risk programs.
The last time I was there he introduced me by saying, “I want to tell you why I let Jack use my horse. It all goes back to a story about a young man who was the son of an itinerant horse trainer who would go from stable to stable, race track to race track, farm to farm and ranch to ranch, training horses. As a result, the boy’s high school career was continually interrupted. When he was a senior, he was asked to write a paper about what he wanted to be and do when he grew up.
“That night he wrote a seven-page paper describing his goal of someday owning a horse ranch. He wrote about his dream in great detail and he even drew a diagram of a 200-acre ranch, showing the location of all the buildings, the stables and the track. Then he drew a detailed floor plan for a 4,000-square-foot house that would sit on a 200-acre dream ranch.
“He put a great deal of his heart into the project and the next day he handed it in to his teacher. Two days later he received his paper back. On the front page was a large red F with a note that read, `See me after class.’
“The boy with the dream went to see the teacher after class and asked, `Why did I receive an F?’
“The teacher said, `This is an unrealistic dream for a young boy like you. You have no money. You come from an itinerant family. You have no resources. Owning a horse ranch requires a lot of money. You have to buy the land. You have to pay for the original breeding stock and later you’ll have to pay large stud fees. There’s no way you could ever do it.’ Then the teacher added, `If you will rewrite this paper with a more realistic goal, I will reconsider your grade.’
“The boy went home and thought about it long and hard. He asked his father what he should do. His father said, `Look, son, you have to make up your own mind on this. However, I think it is a very important decision for you.’ “Finally, after sitting with it for a week, the boy turned in the same paper, making no changes at all.
He stated, “You can keep the F and I’ll keep my dream.”
Monty then turned to the assembled group and said, “I tell you this story because you are sitting in my 4,000-square-foot house in the middle of my 200-acre horse ranch. I still have that school paper framed over the fireplace.” He added, “The best part of the story is that two summers ago that same schoolteacher brought 30 kids to camp out on my ranch for a week.” When the teacher was leaving, he said, “Look, Monty, I can tell you this now. When I was your teacher, I was something of a dream stealer. During those years I stole a lot of kids’ dreams. Fortunately you had enough gumption not to give up on yours.”
“Don’t let anyone steal your dreams. Follow your heart, no matter what.” Say to yourself,I got what it takes for me to make it and would do everything to be great in life.Don't allow anyone steal your dream from you!!!!!!!

GET UP EVERYDAY WITH DETERMINATION IF YOU WANT TO GO TO BED WITH SATISFACTION

GET UP EVERYDAY WITH DETERMINATION IF YOU WANT TO GO TO BED WITH SATISFACTION

Never close the book of your life when GOD has not finished writing your story.. Never hang up when GOD is still on the line with you. Hang in there. GOD is still working on your case. You've got to get up every morning with determination if you want yo go to bed with satisfaction..Everyday may not be bright, everyday may not be stormy either...But there is always something good about everyday.
Determination has a lot to do with our success in life. The more we are determined, the better chance we have of saying no to poverty and embracing riches."The entire water of a sea can't sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship".Similarly negativity of the world should not be allowed to discourage us from sailing even when the storm of life is much.A determined person would wake up daily with a positive mind  with his or her hand on his or her chest saying,"I CAN DO IT OR ACHIEVE ANYTHING IN LIFE,WITH THE HELP OF GOD".With such a conviction you would start your day with a positive and determined heart. This new month has a lot of great things in stock for us. All we just have to do is to just be positive, determined and trust fully in GOD that he, would never fail us.
