ARSENAL TRANSFER: ALABA FOR KOSCIELNY- DEAL OR NO DEAL?????????

ARSENAL TRANSFER: ALABA FOR KOSCIELNY- DEAL OR NO DEAL????????

The Goon Arsenal are plotting a shock move for Bayern Munich’s David Alaba, according to the papers. Despite achieving the treble with the Bavarian giants this season, the 20-year-old was left frustrated at being deployed in the left-back role rather than in his favoured central midfield position. He said:‘The club sees me at the moment as a left defender. But I see myself as a midfielder andI have all of that in mind.‘I try to keep quiet in this regard, but it is a goal of mine to become a regular for Bayern in central midfield.’It is believed Munich have no interest in selling the young Austrian, who is due to sit down and discuss a new contract at the Allianz Arena. However should Alaba fail to get the assurances that he’s looking for then he may well consider his options, despite being tied down to Bayern until 2015.Bayern have been linked with a reported £15 million summer move for Laurent Koscielny and could be tempted to part ways with Alaba if the Frenchman was to be included in a potential deal this summer.Alaba is one hell of a player. He impressed me in the Champions League this season and would bea great signing. But if we are indeed interested in the Austrian then should we propose/consider a player exchange deal with Bayern - Alaba for Koscielny?
