ARSENAL TRANSFER: RECORD SIGNING IN 48 HOURS?- FELLAINI........

ARSENAL TRANSFER: RECORD SIGNING IN 48 HOURS?- FELLAINI.............

Fellaini Could Be Joining Arsenal.Yesterday,Gazidis said that the club is now one of the big boys in the Premier League and can now afford to sign top class players. When asked about whether the club can sign Rooney, he responded like this:“I don’t know what his fee would be. “I’m talking about an extra £70m of additional, high-margin revenue – so of course we could do that.”That means that the media was right in saying that we have £70min the transfer kitty this Summer. That is quite a bit of money, and plus we also have mediocre players that are expected to leave.Add all of that money together and we should be able to make a bid for Ronaldo!Anyway, the media is speculating that Arsenal are about to make a record signing within the next 48hours. Before you ask yourself who this transfer can be, you have to look at the facts we know so far. Gazidis just came out yesterday and said we had money to spend. The Fellaini talk only broke out late yesterday, after Gazidis said we have money to spend. Gazidis said that the club can afford Rooney, not that we are going to sign him. Now unless Arsenal have made some serious discussions with Rooney or Fellaini’s agent, then I hardly expect Arsenal to sign somebody that costs more than £15m. Anyways, we shall see over the coming days whether or not anything happens.Speaking of Fellaini, I would be thrilled if he were to join us. He is just what we need. A tall-strong midfielder who has crazy hair. Fellaini was Everton’s top goal scorer last season, plus he had the second most assists in the squad.Messi is a Fellaini fan.Not too shabby if you ask me.Fellaini will add a much needed presence in Arsenal’s midfield. This season, when he came to the Emirates, he really impressed me in his determination and ability to break down attacks. Also, he knows how to win some headers.Everton chairman Bill Kenwright is determined to keep Fellaini and has recently said:“He talked about a couple of new signings and he talked about the squad and asked ‘Do they need to go?’,”said Kenwright of his discussions with the 39-year-old. “I said ‘No, they absolutely do not have to go’ (although) there is one (Fellaini) that has a get-out, which everyone knows.”Everton are vulnerable to big bids as Arsenal have already scooped one of their star players in Arteta a couple of seasons ago. Let’s hope that Arteta has a few words with Fellaini over the Summer (it seems like that is the only way that players get players to join their team.)
